Terms & Conditions Summary

These Terms and Conditions explain how Purodem Ltd provides its online courses, digital content, and related services through www.purodem.com and the Purodem Academy platform.

They cover important details about enrolment, payment plans, refunds, subscriptions, access, and student conduct.

By enrolling in a course, purchasing digital content, or using our Platform, you agree to follow these Terms in full. Please read them carefully before proceeding, as they outline your rights and responsibilities as a student or customer of Purodem.

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of all websites and online services operated by Purodem Ltd, including but not limited to www.purodem.com, academy.purodem.com, and any associated sub-domains, platforms, or future digital properties operated under the Purodem name or brand (collectively, the “Site” or “Platform”).

Purodem Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 8774736).

Registered address: 269 Farnborough Road, Farnborough, Hampshire GU14 7LY, United Kingdom.

By accessing our Site, purchasing a Course, or subscribing to our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other documents expressly referred to herein. If you do not agree, you must not use our Site or services.

2. Definitions and Interpretation

3. Scope of Agreement

These Terms apply to all users of the Site and Platform, including purchasers of Courses, Digital Content, Products, and Members.

Any separate enrolment forms, order confirmations, or agreements form part of these Terms. No other terms apply unless expressly agreed in writing by Purodem.

Purodem may update or amend these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, policies, or applicable laws. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and where changes are significant, we may also notify you by email.

It is your responsibility to review the Terms regularly to ensure that you understand which version applies. By continuing to access or use the Site after any revisions have been posted, you are deemed to have read, understood, and accepted the updated Terms.

4. Eligibility and Account Registration

5. Description of Services

5.1 External Accreditation and Recognition

Some Purodem courses are accredited or endorsed by independent external organisations or awarding bodies (“Accrediting Bodies”).

While every effort is made to maintain these accreditations, such recognition is outside of Purodem’s direct control and may be altered, suspended, or withdrawn by the relevant Accrediting Body at any time.

If an Accrediting Body changes, suspends, or withdraws its recognition of a course, this does not affect the validity, delivery, or educational content of the course provided by Purodem.

No refunds or compensation will be issued in such circumstances, and students remain liable for all course fees under their enrolment agreement.

Purodem will, where possible, continue to deliver the course to the same standard and structure originally advertised, and may seek equivalent accreditation or recognition where appropriate.

6. Payments and Instalment Plans

6.1 Enrolment Completion and Conditional Access

Enrolment is considered complete when the initial payment (or full course fee, if paid upfront) has been received and cleared by Purodem.

Access to course materials may be granted prior to full payment being received; however, such access is conditional upon continued compliance with the agreed payment plan.

If any instalment payment fails, is cancelled, or remains unpaid beyond its due date, Purodem reserves the right to suspend or permanently revoke access until all outstanding amounts are settled.

Full ownership of the course and the issue of any certificate of completion (where applicable) will only be granted once the total course fee has been paid in full.

6.2 Credit and Financing Options

If you choose to use a third-party finance or payment provider (for example, Klarna, Clearpay, PayPal Credit, or Stripe Installments), your contractual obligations to Purodem remain in force regardless of any dispute with that provider.

If a chargeback, reversal, or dispute is raised, Purodem may suspend course access immediately until all funds are received in full.

6.3 Administrative and Reinstatement Fees

Where instalments are missed and manual action is required, an administration fee of £35 applies.

Access will not be restored until overdue payments and fees are settled.

6.4 Recovery of Outstanding Fees

Purodem reserves the right to recover unpaid fees, including reasonable legal or collection costs.

Continued failure to pay may result in permanent termination of access and legal proceedings to recover the full outstanding balance.

6.5 Price Changes and Errors

All prices are correct at the time of publication. Purodem reserves the right to amend prices prior to purchase or enrolment.

If a pricing or typographical error occurs, Purodem is not obliged to honour the incorrect price and may cancel or refund the affected order. This does not affect your statutory rights.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

8. Subscriptions and Renewals

9. Confidentiality and Intellectual Property

By enrolling or creating an account, you consent to the processing of your data for administration, enrolment, certification, and communication purposes.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, and use your personal information in more detail.

16. Force Majeure

Purodem Ltd shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from causes beyond its reasonable control.

These include, but are not limited to: natural disasters, fire, flood, storm, pandemic, epidemic, illness or incapacity of key teaching staff, war, terrorism, strikes, lockouts, civil unrest, power outages, or failure of internet or communication systems.

In the event of such circumstances, Purodem will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption, such as rescheduling, postponing, or adapting course delivery (including remote or asynchronous alternatives).

Temporary suspension, delay, or modification under these conditions shall not entitle you to a refund, provided that the course continues to be delivered substantially as intended once conditions permit.

17. Your Liability and Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Purodem Ltd against all claims, costs, or losses arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Platform, or infringement of intellectual property rights.

18. Termination

Purodem may terminate your access immediately for serious or repeated breaches, non-payment, or misconduct.

On termination, all rights granted under these Terms cease.

19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
